Admission Information

Nursery, LKG, UKG

Registration: Starts from the 1st Week of December.
Interaction: Children are called for interaction with the teacher.
Final Interaction: Selected candidates along with their parents are called for the final interaction with the principal.
Written Test: For LKG & UKG, a written test is conducted.

Class 1st to 5th

Written Test: Conducted based on the previous class syllabus.
Dates: Held on specified dates (subject to availability of seats).
Final Interview: Selected candidates are called for the final interview with the principal.

Registration

All prospective candidates for admission to any class are requested to get their name registered at the school office in advance. Every year the time for registration begins in the first week of December. Admission to the classes depends on the availability of seats.

A recent passport size photograph of the ward is to be affixed on the registration form. Registration does not guarantee admission, but only means that the child is entitled to appear for an entrance test and an interview.

Admission Requirements

S.M.O: Should be produced at the time of admission. No affidavit will be accepted.
Minimum Age: 3 years as of April 1st for admission to Nursery.
Date of Birth: If a false Date of Birth is provided, the candidate will be barred from studying in the institution. Date of Birth once registered cannot be altered. (Aadhaar card of the ward is required for admission.)

UKG to VIII Class

Admission will be granted only after submitting a T.C from the previous school. The admission procedure will be completed only when the child is issued an admission card & code number after submitting the necessary documents and depositing the fees. Failing to do so will result in the cancellation of admission and the seat will be allotted to the next child on the waiting list.

Procedure of Withdrawal

Students can be withdrawn or removed from the school as under:

  • By giving one month's notice in writing. In the absence of such notice, one month's fees will be charged.
  • By the authorities on one of the following grounds:
    • Constant weakness in studies.
    • Irregularity in attendance.
    • Behavior problem.
    • Over age in any class.
    • Non-payment of the fees or chronic irregularity in payment.
    • Moral breach considered serious by the school authorities.

Payment Of Fees & Other Rules

Fee Structure & Mode Of Collection: Annual charges to be paid in March before the start of the new session confirming the decision to continue in the school. The fee is to be deposited bimonthly for the school year, in the HDFC Bank, Harike. The fee is to be deposited by the 10th of the month in which the bill is issued.

Note: As long as the school does not receive grant-in-aid from the government, the school is constrained to revise the fee structure annually, to meet the rise in expenditure due to the increase in the cost of living. All students should pay their dues on time, failing which a fine will be imposed.

  • No student will be permitted to write the examination without fee clearance.
  • No refund will be made once the receipt is issued.
  • Fee defaulters will be charged Rs. 100/- per month as fine.
  • If any child is found not paying the fees for three consecutive months, his/her name will be struck off from the register of admission & will be declared ineligible to continue the course. Re-admission is possible only after paying the full admission fee, and if the seat is vacant.

Examinations

Major Examinations: There are three major examinations each term. Monthly tests are conducted regularly.

Promotion Scheme

Promotion to a higher class depends upon:

  • Regularity in attendance.
  • Regularity & quality of day participation in the class.
  • Opinion of teachers in the class.
  • Written work & projects assigned by the subject teachers.
  • Average of terminal examination.

Additional Rules:

  • Those who absent themselves in any subject shall be considered failed in that subject & shall not be re-examined. In case of grave illness, a medical certificate shall be produced.
  • No re-examination on the next day for the absent students. Attendance is compulsory during the oral and written examinations.
  • A pupil shall be eligible for final exams only if he/she has 85% attendance.
  • Anyone found indulging in malpractice during the examination is liable to be debarred from further examination & the whole examination of the candidate shall be cancelled.
  • Results declared at the end of the academic year are final, and no request for re-examination shall be entertained or shall the answer paper be shown.
  • No student who has failed for two consecutive years in the same class shall be permitted to continue studies in the school.

Promotion Marks: For promotion, a student must obtain a minimum of 40% marks in each subject. Those who seek admission in this school have to accept this scheme of promotion. The decision of the school in the matter of promotion is final & irrevocable. Regular tests will be conducted in addition to the terminal examination. Marks obtained in all tests & terminal examinations will be taken into consideration for promotion.
